ICRO Holds Educational Course for Muslim Women

TEHRAN (IQNA) - The Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) has been holding an educational course titled “Shajarah Tuba” since December 24.


According to ICRO’s public relations and information office, the opening ceremony of the course was attended by 15 Muslim women representing female activists in the field of family and women’s affairs in several African countries including Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia.

Women’s rights in Islam, woman in verses of the Holy Quran and Hadiths, media and Islamic lifestyle, life skills, Ifaf and Hijab in Islam, and human rights and Hijab in the West, are some of the themes discussed in the course.

Promoting the status of Muslim women and female intellectuals and introducing the viewpoint of Islam about woman and family as well as the Iranian achievements in this respect are the main objectives of the course.

ICRO has previously organized the course in Arabic, English, Persian, and Russian languages for female representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Russia, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Sudan, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Australia, Sweden, France, Ghana, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Sierra Leone.
