Conference in Hamburg Discusses “Extremism, A Challenge for Islam and Society”

HAMBURG (IQNA) – The 5th annual conference on Islamic unity and proximity was held here in the German city of Hamburg on Saturday.

It was organized at the Islamic Center of Hamburg on the occasion of the Holy prophet’s (PBUH) birth anniversary, IQNA’s Europe branch reported.
Titled “Extremism, A Challenge for Islam and Society”, the conference was covered by a number of German media including ZDF and NDR networks and Germany’s Channel 1.
Director of the center Ayatollah Ramezani, Head of the German Islam Council Ali Kizilkaya, and a number of scholars and Muslim figures from Germany, Turkey and Britain addressed the conference.
