Mostafa Najjarianzadeh, Iran’s cultural attaché in Bangkok, made the announcement adding that the decision was made a in his recent meeting with Sheikh Ayyub, the deputy of Thailand’s Qaris Council, IRNA reported.
He said Sheikh Ayyub in this meeting hailed the Islamic Republic’s efforts to promote Quranic teachings and described Iran’s Quran competitions’ level as high.
Previously, Muhammad Afandi competed for Thailand in the 30th edition of Iran’s Quran international Quran competition in 2013.
