Quran Teachers Training Course Held in Kabul

TEHRAN (IQNA) - Afghanistan’s Supreme Quran Council organized the 26th edition of Quran teachers training course for women in Kabul.


According to Awa news agency, 40 female university students, teachers and seminarians of the region attended the course.

Hasanzadeh, a member of the council, said that top participants in the course will be awarded certificates and dispatched to hold Quranic courses in different parts of the country.

From among 70 Afghan women who registered for the entrance examination, 40 ones were qualified to take the course, she said.

Afghanistan’s Supreme Quran Council was established in Kabul on June 10, 2013.

Coordinating Quranic education activities and promoting unity among the Quranic community are the main objectives of the council.
