According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), it was hosted by Masji al-Zahra (SA) Mosque on the sidelines of the 7th edition of the Bahar-e Quran (spring of the Quran) Exhibition.
It began with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by teenage Qari Ali Sajjad, which was followed by recitations by other Qaris.
The program also included a number of lectures featuring Quranic activities in Afghanistan.
The Bahar-e Quran Exhibition has been mounted by the Supreme Quran Council of Afghanistan on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Quranic event, which began on Thursday and will run in the Afghan capital city for ten days, welcomes visitors every day from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M.
It is aimed at helping people benefit more from the spiritual blessings of the holy month of Ramadan, the month of Quran.
