ISESCO Condemns Burning Down of Mosque in Papua, Indonesia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned burning down of a mosque in Papua (eastern Indonesia) and attacking worshippers at the hands of a group of Christian extremists.

 ISESCO in a statement rejected as despicable and filthy all act of religious bigotry regardless of its origin.

It called on the Indonesian government to urgently bring the perpetrators of this terrorist crime to justice and protect Muslim congregations and their property as mandated by national laws and legislation.

The attack happened earlier this week.
