ICRO to Host Iran, South Korea Interfaith Dialogue

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 5th round of dialogue between the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization’s (ICRO) Center for Interreligious Dialogue (CID) and the Korean Conference of Religions for Peace (KCRP) will kick off in Tehran on Tuesday.


According to ICRO’s website, the main theme of the two-day event is "Religion, Peace and International Security”. 

ICRO Chief Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, head of the CID Abdol Rahim Gavahi, and officials of a number of religious centers from Iran, as well as Christian thinkers from South Korea will take part in the interfaith meeting.

ICRO to Host Iran, South Korea Interfaith Dialogue

They will deliver speeches and present papers on topics like religions’ teachings for establishment of peace, religious dialogue for promoting global peace and security, role of family and youths in upholding peace, and religions’ attention to protection of the environment. 

The 4th edition of Iran-South Korea interfaith dialogue was held in January 2015, in the South Korean capital of Seoul.
