Addressing a press conference on Friday, Forum Chairman Md Dawood said that the competition was being organized to encourage children towards spirituality and to adopt the teachings of the Quran in modern day life.
The competition will be held in two categories. About 1,200 students have enrolled their names.
Private institutions and government schools other than Madrasas come under the first category. In the second category, the competitions will be organized for the students of Madrasas.
Students from other than Muslim community are participating in the competition as well. Cash prizes of Rs 40,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 will be given to the top three winners in each category.
Each participant will be given a cash incentive of Rs 1,000, a Quran, a memento and a certificate.
