9-Year-Old Iranian Memorizer Attends Quranic Event in Iraq
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Hannaneh Khalafi, a 9-year-old Iranian girl who has learned the entire Quran by heart, attended a Quran reading session in the Iraqi city of Najaf.
The session was held at the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf as part of the Saeed Bin Jubair Quranic International Quranic Festival.
A number of Iranian and Iraqi Qaris, including Abdullah Munim al-Silawi and Seyed Mohammad Reza Mohammadi recited verses from the Quran at the Quranic meeting.
There were also Tawasheeh (religious songs) performances by al-Zahra Tawasheeh group from Iraq’s Wasit province.
Hannaneh Khalafi has managed to memorize the entire Quran at an early age, becoming the youngest female Quran memorizer in Iran.
Three other members of her family are also memorizers of the Holy Book.
