Babayi, who is from Tehran, came first in the memorization of the entire Quran category in the final stage the Islamic Republic of Iran’s 38th national Quran memorization contest.

She will leave for the Arab country’s capital of Amman on Saturday to attend the international Quranic event.
It is annually organized by the Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry of Jordan with the participation of Quran memorizers and reciters from different countries.
The women’s category of this year’s contest will be held on April 9-14 while men are scheduled to start their competition on June 25.
Mahmoud Babakhan will be Iran’s representative in the men’s category of Jordan’s Quranic event.
Last year, Iran’s Hajar Mehralian came 5th in the memorization of the entire Quran for women’s category of the 10th edition.
