Translator of Sahifa Sajjadiyya into Croatian Lauded for His Work

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri praised Foad Kanso, the translator of Sahifa Sajjadiyya into Croatian for the work.

According to the Iranian Cultural Center in Zagreb, Ayatollah Taskhiri, a top adviser to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in religious affairs, in a ceremony in the Croatian capital on Wednesday, described Kanso’s translation as a lasting work for the European country’s Muslims.

He also appreciated Kanso’s efforts to promote the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

Sahifa Sajjadiyya is a collection of 75 supplications of Imam Zayn al-Abidin Ali ibn Hussein (AS).

It is one of the most important works of Islamic spirituality.

Foad Kanso, who is originally Lebanese, is a prominent heart surgeon.

He has established the Imam Moussa Kadhim (AS) Islamic Center in Croatia and has written or translated 15 works in the Croatian language on the Seerah and life of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
