Anwar Shaheen Khan Khel told IQNA during a visit to the 29th Tehran International Book Fair that all the poems in the Diwan have been translated into Pashto.

The book fair has been underway in Tehran since May 3.

2400 Iranian publishing houses and 300 publishers from other countries have showcased their books in 2500 pavilions at the book fair.

Shaheen Khan Khel further said that 35 other books have also been rendered from Persian into the Pashto language, which is spoken in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

They include a book titled "Our Belief” by grand Ayatollah Nasser Makaram Shirazi, he said.

The Pakistani translator noted that he learned Persian at the Iranian Cultural House in Peshawar, Pakistan, after the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
