Iranian Tawasheeh Group Performs in Zagreb Mosque

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Iranian Tawasheeh group, Iman, performed Tawasheeh (religious songs) at the mosque of the Islamic Center of Zagreb in the Croatian capital city on Sunday night.


The group, headed by Mojtaba Malek Afzali, has been invited to Zagreb during the holy month of Ramadan by the Iranian Cultural Center in the city.

They performed religious songs in six languages- Persian, Bosnian, English, Turkish, Croatian and Arabic- and they were received very well by the worshippers.

Members of the group also held programs on the European country’s HRT1 TV channel on the 2nd day of the holy month.

Iran dispatches Quran reciters and activists to different countries during Ramadan to promote the Quranic culture and teachings.
