10 Books on Shia Islam to Be Published in Turkey
Hojat-ol-Islam Shir Ali Bayat told IQNA that translation of the books into Turkish has recently finished and they are ready for publication.
"Theology” by Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, "Family in Islam” by Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini, "An-Nas wa al-Ijtihad” by Allameh Seyyed Abdul Hussein Sharafeddin, "Manazil al-Akhira” by Sheikh Abbas Qomi and "Mafatih al-Hayat” by Ayatollah Abdullah Javadi Amoli are among the books translated into Turkish.
The Thaqalayn Publication in Istanbul will publish the books in 2000 copies for the country’s Shia Muslims, he added.
According to Bayat, several books about Shia Islam, including one written and one translated by him, have already been published by the Thaqalayn Publication.
Most Muslims in Turkey are Sunnis. Shia Muslims make up around 25 percent of the Muslim population.
