Iraqi Quranic Centers Offer Condolences over Martyrdom of Former IQNA Chief

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Following the martyrdom of Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mehdi Taqavi, the former IQNA managing director and former head of the Iranian Academics’ Quranic Activities Organization, a number of Iraqi Quranic centers issued messages of condolences.

Hojat-ol-Islam Taqavi was among those martyred in a terrorist attack on Iran’s parliament on Wednesday, which was claimed by the Daesh Takfiri terrorist group.

Raad Adnan al-Nasseri, the director of the Dar-ol-Quran Center in Nasiriyah, southern Iraq, in a message condemned the terrorist attack, and another one on the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA), describing them as signs of Daesh’s cowardliness.

The Da-ol-Quran Center of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine in Karbala also in a message condoled with the Iranian nation and the family of Hojat-ol-Islam Taqavi and other martyrs of the incidents.

A number of Quran activists from other countries, including Sudanese Quran researcher Abdul Malik Omar Ahmed Idris, also expressed condolences to the Iranian nation over the martyrdom of a number of Iranians in the attacks.
