Quran Competition for Students Held in Bosnia

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 13th edition of a Quran competition for university students was held in Bosnia and Herzegovina last week.

  

According to Balad News website, it was organized in cooperation with the International Organization for Quran and Sunnah affiliated to the Muslim World League.

As many as 44 girls and boys took part in the competition in two different sections.

Abdullah Basfar, secretary general of the International Organization for Quran and Sunnah was present at the closing ceremony.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country in southeast Europe. Islam is the most widespread religion in the country.

Nearly half of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s population is estimated to be Muslim.
