TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Baghdad branch of the Dar-ol-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine was launched in a ceremony earlier this week.

According to dar-alquran.org website, a large number of Quranic and religious figures, scholars and other people attended the ceremony at al-Shaab district of the Iraqi capital.
It began with recitation of verses from the Quran by Hajj Osama al-Karbalayi, a prominent Qari of the center.
In an address, Sheikh Khayri al-Sin al-Hadi, an official with the center, underlined the need for promotion of Quranic activities in Iraq.
He also hailed the successes of Iraqi Quran activists in international Quranic events.
