8-Volume Quran Encyclopedia Unveiled in Pakistan’s Karachi

TEHRAN (IQNA) – In a ceremony in Karachi, Pakistan, a new encyclopedia of the Holy Quran was unveiled.

 

According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations (ICRO), it was organized by the Karachi-based institute Minhaj al-Quran.

The encyclopedia, compiled by Mohammad Tahir al-Qaderi, founder and head of the institute, has been published in 8 volumes.

Quranic scholars and religious, cultural and political figures were present at the ceremony.

 Also attending was Mohammad Reza Baqeri, head of the Iranian Culture House in Karachi.

In a speech, he described compiling and publishing the encyclopedia as a great measure.

He also underlined the role of Muslim scholars in promoting Quranic sciences.
