Quranic Activities Should Not Be Limited to Recitation, Memorization
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A Shia source of emulation in the holy city of Qom stressed the need for developing activities of Qom University in Quranic fields.
Addressing a group of the university’s directors, academic figures and organizers of the Holy Quran national festival for students, Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Alavi Gorgani hailed the organziation of the festival.
Quranic fields are the best fields in which the University of Qom can take great steps to become a source of reference for the whole world, he added.
Ayatollah Gorgani noted that Quranic activities are not just Quran recitation and memorization but include various other aspects such as interpretation and contemplation in Quranic meanings.
The cleric expressed hope that Quran activists of the country will be successful in training Quranic generations who act upon Quranic teachings in every moment of their life.
