Visually-Impaired Members of Syrian Family Memorize Quran in Turkey

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Habah, Nur-ul-Huda and Mustafa are members of a Syrian family resising in Turkey who have learned the entire Quran by heart.

 

The two sisters, aged 18 and 13, and the 11-year-old brother have memorized the Holy Book by listening to recitation of the Quran, according to orient-news website.

They also enjoyed the encouragement and help of their parents and relatives.

The three have now applied for official Quran memorization certificate of Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet).

The Holy Quran is the only religious Scripture that is memorized by its followers.

Innumerable persons in every Muslim community have memorized the Quran since the first day it was revealed.

The Quran has 30 Juzes (parts), 114 Surahs (chapters) and 6,236 verses.
