Haniyeh, Nasrallah Meet in Lebanon
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, who is in Lebanon, met with Secretary General of Hezbollah Resistance movement Sayed Hassan Nasrallah.
During the meeting, also attended by Haniyeh’s accompanying delegation, the latest developments in Lebanon, Palestine and the region were discussed, el-Nashra website reported.
They condemned the moves by some Arab countries toward normalization of ties with the Zionist regime of Israel and underlined the responsibility of the Islamic Ummah in this regard.
Nasrallah and Haniyeh also stressed the need for steadfastness of the resistance axis against pressures and threats.
After the meeting, Hezbollah said in a statement that the two sides highlighted the strength of brotherly relations between Hamas and Hezbollah.
