The following is the full text of his message, according to Khamenei.ir:

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I would like to express my condolences on the demise of the diligent, pious scholar, Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Muhammad Yazdi (may God be pleased with him) to the great seminary of Qom, the eminent Religious Authorities, distinguished scholars, the honorable community of teachers, his students, friends and admirers, and in particular to his honorable family and children. His Revolutionary background, involvement in the fight against the Tyrannical regime [before the Revolution] along with his continuous presence in all the stages of the Revolution, engagement in major responsibilities for the country’s governance including Head of the Judiciary, membership in the Guardian Council, Assembly of Experts and the National Consultative Assembly in addition to his academic and jurisprudential endeavors made a complete, influential man out of this esteemed scholar. Firm belief in the foundations of the Revolution, perseverance on this path, and religious and revolutionary ardor were the other manifest characteristics of this honorable figure. It is hoped that this great spiritual treasury will lead to the elevation of his rank in the Heavens. I ask God, the Exalted, to bestow His mercy, forgiveness and satisfaction upon him.
