‘Our Hearts Are with You’, Leader Tells Palestinians
The Leader, in response to the letters of Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Ziyad Nakhalah, Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, emphasized, “Our hearts are with you in your fight and we pray for your continuous victories.”
The following is an excerpt of the statements in the letter, according to Khamenei.ir:
My Mujahid brother, Mr. Ismail Haniyeh (who has been honored by God), Salam Alaykum. I have received your letter where you elaborated on Palestine's recent Jihad. Your resistance is resistance against oppression, unbelief and arrogance and it brings the Almighty God's pleasure.
Your fight against oppression is a manifestation of the verse, "If you aid God's cause, He will aid you and strengthen your steps." By God's Power, you will be victorious and purify the Holy Land from the contamination of the usurpers, God willing.
