MWL Achievements on Display at Cairo Int’l Book Fair
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The achievements the Muslim World League have been put on display at its pavilion at the Cairo international book fair.
Abdul Rahman al-Matar, an official with the Muslim World League, said it has presented many books at the fair, including the Mecca Charter, which has been endorsed by scholars and Muftis from 139 countries.
He added that on display are also photos of the International Museum of the Prophet’s Seerah and Islamic Civilization in Medina and replicas of works made by Muslims in the early years after the advent of Islam.
Al-Matar further described the book fair as one of the major ones in the world that attracts some 2.5 million visitors.
The 52nd edition of Cairo international book fair was launched in the Egyptian capital on June 30 and will run until July 15.
