Teachings of Imam Hussein (AS) Uprising
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Imam Hussein’s (AS) uprising was not aimed at serving personal interests. Imam Hussein (AS) sacrificed himself and his family for reforming the society and elevating the level of people’s spiritual life.
Speaking in a series of sessions on Ashura, Dr Mohsen Esmaeili has elaborated on different aspects of the event of Ashura.
In the 14th session, he said Imam Hussein (AS) with his uprising taught us that we should prefer reformation of the society and elevating the level of people’s culture and spirituality to our own comfort and welfare.
