Basem Naim, a member of the Hamas political bureau, said the movement highly appreciates the statements made by Rezaei regarding the necessity of ending the wars in the entire region, including Lebanon and Gaza.

In a post on the "X" platform Thursday, Naim said "stopping these wars is a supreme interest for the region, its people, and its future."

He emphasized that "their continuation only serves the malicious schemes of the Zionist enemy against our nation, which are based on dismantling the region, destabilizing it, and depleting its resources."

Rezaei had previously stressed in a press statement the necessity for the United States to end its aggression against Iran, release frozen Iranian assets, and end the wars in the region, particularly in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.
