Quran Manuscripts Exhibition Underway in Sharjah

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An exhibition of Quran manuscripts opened on Wednesday at the Kalba Branch of the University of Sharjah, the UAE.

 

Entitled "National Exhibition of Quranic Manuscripts and Small Entrepreneurial Projects”, the event was launched with the cooperation of the Parents Council in the presence of Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of Sharjah Ruler's Office in Kalba.

Dr. Ali Obaid Al Zaabi, Deputy Assistant Director of the University of Sharjah (UoS) for Branch Affairs, revealed a wide participation of government departments, private sector institutions, and productive families in the activities of the "National Exhibition of Quranic Manuscripts and Small Entrepreneurial Projects".

Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Al Zaabi said that the exhibition, which was inaugurated by Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, includes 45 pavilions for various types of projects and traditional crafts, as well as a special art exhibition by artist Najat Makki, and another for manuscripts of the Holy Quran.

Al Zaabi explained that the exhibition is witnessing a wide participation of small business owners from different emirates of the country.
