Tayyebi, the head of the conference’s scientific committee, said more than 800 papers have been submitted to its secretariat so far.
She said the deadline for submitting papers have been extended to January 18.
Titled “Fatimah, the Lady of Mercy”, the conference will feature discussions on issues like introduction of a role model for women and families, learning from the Seerah of Hazrat Zahra (SA) to face today’s challenges, role of Muslim women following the example of Hazrat Zahra (SA) in creating an Islamic civilization, and presence of civilization-making women in the cyberspace, she noted.
An exhibition of achievements of Muslim women will also be mounted on the sidelines of the conference, which is slated for January 22, she went on to say.
The Global Association of Moslem Women will organize the event.
