IQNA to Host Gathering of Iranian Quran Activists

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The 8th Nowruz (new Iranian year) gathering of members of the Iranian Quranic community will be held at the International Quran News Agency here in Tehran on April 4.

It will be organized in compliance with the health protocols, including by maintaining social distancing.

Veteran Quran activists, qaris, memorizers, Quran teachers and those active in the field of Quranic arts will attend the gathering.

Like previous years, the main issues in the field of Quranic activities and demands and concerns of the Quranic community will be discussed at the event.

Since 2014, Nowruz meetings of the Quranic community have been held at IQNA every year, except for 2020 due to the coronavirus restrictions.

The Persian New Year, Nowruz, will begin on March 21 on the last day of winter, as Iranians celebrate the beginning of spring.
