It was part of a series of some 150 books and publications presented by the Ibn Sina Foundation of Russia to the library at a ceremony attended by Andrey Lukashev, the deputy head of the foundation.
The works introduce the Islamic culture and teachings as well as the cloture, history and arts of Iran.
They are in such fields as Quran and Hadith, history of Islam, humanities, Iran’s philosophy, mysticism and theology, and Iran’s contemporary literature.
The Ibn Sina Foundation’s main task, according to its officials, is providing support for Russian Islamic studies and spreading information about Islamic culture.
Located in the city of Almaty, the National Library of Kazakhstan was established more than a century ago.
It holds more than 5 million books in different subjects, including many Persian language manuscripts.
