Only Palestinians Will Determine Fate of Palestine

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A member of Iran’s Expediency Council said the message of the resistance front to the reactionary regimes seeking to normalize ties with the Zionist regime is that it is only the Palestinian people who will determine the fate of Palestine.

Speaking to IQNA, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel said the puppet regimes that think they can resolve the Palestinian issue are mistaken.

He stressed that governments are in no position to settle the issue of Palestine but the Palestinian youths and faithful men and women of the country can do it.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Haddad Adel underlined the significance of the International Quds Day and said this year’s rallies marking the occasion are held while the Palestinian nation are more than ever active in defending Palestine and the cause of Al-Quds.

The International Quds Day is a legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, who designated the day in solidarity with Palestinians.

Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, the International Quds Day has been held worldwide on the last Friday of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.

This year, the International Quds Day falls on Friday, April 29.
