Imam Reza Birth Anniv. to Be Marked with 120 Programs in Mashhad
Imam Reza holy shrine will hold 120 national and international cultural, social, economic, and scientific programs during birth anniversary days of the Imam, says Abdolhamid Talebi, head of Scientific and Cultural Foundation of the shrine.
According to Talebi, out of these 120 programs, 14 will be held inside the holy complex, 31 will be held by the Scientific and Cultural Foundation, 27 by Karamat Razavi Foundation, 20 by Productivity Foundation of Imam Reza Holy Shrine, and 28 by Communications and Media Center of the holy shrine.
“Holding special sports festivals for deprived areas, grand Mahdokht celebration, Imam Reza Cup track and field competitions, establishment of reception and accommodation stations, offering discounts on food industry products, and holding an exhibition of achievements of Knowledge-based industries are only some outstanding programs of the organization during these days,” he noted.
Referring to the special services for the poor people during these days, the official added: “Reconstruction of 80 identified houses of the deprived people in cooperation with charities, giving dowries to young needy couples, and simple feeding are among programs carried out by Karamat Razavi Foundation for the poor”.
Talebi further stressed: “Holding Razavi culture weeks in different countries, presence of Razavi scientific and cultural delegation in Merv city, virtual training course on Imam Reza's lifestyle in Arabic, Urdu, Azeri and English languages, holding series of webinars to study Razavi culture and heritage in cooperation with Al-Azhar University, and holding a training course for Arabic, English, Urdu, Azeri and French teachers of Quran are part of holy shrine’s programs at international level”.
Talebi finally stated that promoting the tradition and conducts of Imam Reza (AS), promoting culture of wise and tireless jihad as well as promoting school of civilization of Imam Reza (AS) are main missions of Imam Reza holy shrine during the occasion in coming weeks.
