Quran Interpretation Sessions Underway at Imam Reza Shrine

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Special sessions on thematic interpretation of the Holy Quran are underway on a daily basis at Imam Reza (AS) Shrine in Mashhad, northeast Iran.

The sessions are part of the programs aimed at marking what is described in Iran Karamat week.

The meetings have been underway daily ever since the start of the celebration period before and after noontime and afternoon prayers in the Holy Quran Center with some outstanding Quranic experts in attendance.

Also, special sessions on reviewing Imam Reza’s life and conduct are being held every day after congregational prayers at noontime in Maqsurah Portico and Imam Khomeini Courtyard of the holy shrine.

The Karamat celebrations mark the ten days between the birth anniversaries of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) and Imam Reza (AS), the daughter and son of the 7th Shia Imam.
