Libya Mourns Death of Three Quran Memorizers

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Libya is mourning the death of three young memorizers of the Quran.

Abd al-Muttalib al-Rukbah, Usama al-Turki, and Abd al-Wahid al-Zubayah lost their lives in a road crash in Misrata.

Reacting to the loss, Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh issued a condolence message.

In a message on social media, Dbeibeh condoled the loss to the family of the memorizers.

He also referred to verse 170 of Surah Al-A’raf which reads “As for those who hold fast to the Book and are steadfast in prayer, We do not waste the wage of the righteous,” wishing the memorizers elevated place in Paradise.
