Qaris of Imam Reza, Hazrat Masoumeh Holy Shrine Attend Quranic Circle in Mashhad

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A joint Quranic session was held in Mashhad with the participation of the qaris of the Astans (custodianships) of Imam Reza (AS) and Hazrat Masoumeh holy shrines.

The Azhar al-Jamil Al-A’ala cultural institute in the holy city in northeast Iran hosted the Quranic gathering on Wednesday night.

Held ahead of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), it was also attended by a number of official, Quran memorizers and elegy reciters of Mashhad.

Soroush Azimi, secretary of the organizing committee of Mashhad Quranic circles, said such programs are aimed at promoting acquaintance with the Quran and providing a venue for Quran reciters to exchange experiences.

Ehsan Soukhtanlu, Seyed Abbas Hosseini, Mohammad Amin Kohan, Ali Asghar Alipour, Pouria Boluki, and Mohammad Esmailian from Mashhad, and Mohammad Saeed Alamkhah, and Mohammad Hossein Eqbalifrom Qom recited verses from the Holy Quran at the program.
