AL-QUDS (IQNA) – A senior Palestinian cleric underscored that under no conditions will the people of the Gaza Strip leave the coastal enclave.

Salman Abu Tariq al-Saudi, head of the Association of Palestinian Propagators

Speaking in an interview with IQNA, Salman Abu Tariq al-Saudi, head of the Association of Palestinian Propagators, referred to the attempts by the Zionist regime and its supporters to impose the forced displacement of the people of Gaza, saying that such a thing is not going to happen.

“We will die in our land and hug our soil but will never accept the humility of displacement and living in (refugee) camps,” he stressed.

The war will end and the occupation regime and its supporters will face humiliation and disgrace, he stated, adding that the people of Gaza will not give in to pressures for leaving the land.

“The 1948 displacement of Palestinians is not going to be repeated,” al-Saudi added.

Asked whether the Israeli regime, through its blind attacks on Gaza, has managed to destroy the achievements of the Palestinian resistance in the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, the cleric said that is not the case and the resistance is at the peak of its power.

Despite all the destruction and massacre of people, the fighters of Palestinian resistance keep confronting the Zionist regime with great power, he underlined, adding that the occupiers are incapable of destroying the resistance.

Meanwhile, al-Saudi criticized certain Arab rulers who have played into the hands of the Zionist regime through normalization of ties, pursuing concessions and security cooperation with the occupation regime.

He also condemned the Arab rulers for remaining silent even as the Tel Aviv regime continues the massacre of Palestinians and the genocide in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli regime has killed over 4,700 people and injured thousands of others in its airstrikes on Gaza and nothings is heard from Arab governments but useless calls for peace and ceasefire, he deplored.

The Zionist regime’s brutal war against the people of Gaza started on October 7 after Hamas carried out a surprise attack against the regime, called Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, by firing thousands of rockets at the occupied territories.

The operation, which was a legitimate response to recurrent acts of violence against Palestinians, touched off an incessant onslaught by the illegal entity on the besieged Gaza Strip, which has so far claimed the lives of more than 4,700 people, mostly civilians, while leaving more than 15,000 others injured.
