IQNA – Mohammed Abdul Sattar, the Awqaf minister of Syria, paid a visit to the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Medina.

He visited the Quran printing complex on Saturday, during an official trip to Saudi Arabia, SANA reported.

Abdul Sattar toured different parts of the complex and was briefed by the secretary general of the complex, Atef bin Ibrahim Al-Olayan, on its activities and the process of proofreading, preparing and printing copies of the Quran there.  

The two officials also discussed ways to develop cooperation between the complex and the supreme committee of Quranic affairs at the Syrian Awqaf ministry.

Abdul Sattar later held talks with Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh.
