Brunei Nat’l Quran Contest to Open Wednesday

IQNA – Brunei’s national Holy Quran competition will get underway on Wednesday, January 17.

The preliminary round of the National Level Al-Quran Memorization and its Understanding Competition for 1445 Hijri calendar year will take place over six days, on January 17, 18, 20, 22, 23 and 24.

The Center for Al-Quran Studies and Dissemination MABIMS at Block 2H, Floor 7 and 8, Ong Sum Ping Condominium, Jalan Ong Sum Ping in the capital, will host the event, the country’s Ministry of Religious Affairs said in a statement Monday.

Category ‘A’ will be held on January 17, while Category ‘B’ on January 18, Category ‘C’ on January 23 and 24, Category ‘D’ on January 20 and Category ‘E’ on January 22.
