IQNA – The Sahns (courtyards) of the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina is the scene of Quran reading by worshippers and pilgrims after the morning prayers everyday.

Some of them read the Quran individually and some together, according to IQNA dispatches. 

There are also Tafsir (Quran interpretation) circles held at the mosque everyday.

The holy site has seen the presence of a large number of visitors in recent days with the arrival pilgrims from all over the world coming to Saudi Arabia for Hajj.

They try to benefit the most from the opportunity of visiting one of the most sacred places on earth.

Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca that every able-bodied and financially able Muslim is obliged to undertake at least once during their lifetime.

The annual pilgrimage is regarded as one of the pillars of Islam and the largest act of mass pilgrimage in the world.

This year’s Hajj is expected to fall between Friday, June 14, and Wednesday, June 19.
