The current situation in the Gaza Strip reveals the Israeli regime’s criminal intent that is no longer concealed from anyone, Sheikh Saeed Khaled Qasim, Head of a Palestinian Islamic center in Lebanon, told IQNA.
“These crimes are an explicit demonstration of their hostility towards humanity, a hostility that was previously hidden but is now evident,” he said.
The remarks come as the Israeli attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip has killed at least 34,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, leaving more than 83,000 others injured.
Elsewhere in the interview, Qasim added that today, Iran stands as a “robust pillar” of the resistance axis, serving as the primary military, financial, and political force in opposition to the Israeli regime and the arrogant powers supporting it.
Iran’s principles for supporting the resistance is rooted in the thoughts of Imam Khomeini, added Qasim who had been imprisoned by the Israeli regime for 15 years since 1970.

“Over the years, we have witnessed the accuracy of Imam Khomeini’s predictions and his analysis of issues related to Palestine and the need for global Muslim unity to confront this regime and achieve the liberation of al-Quds,” he said.
“Today, more than ever, it is clear that we must continue on this path, undeterred by its challenges.”
Compared to the onset of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the resistance axis now has greater opportunities and resources to defend the cause of Islam and Palestine, he said, adding, “while it’s undeniable that there are obstacles on this path, Imam Khomeini’s emphasis, particularly on the unity of all Muslims, will pave the way for resolving the Palestinian issue.”
