IQNA – The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas said all of those killed in an Israeli bombing of a school in Gaza City were civilians.

The Israeli regime’s brutal attack on the al-Tabi’in school in the al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, which is sheltering displaced people in the east of the Gaza Strip, killed more than 100 civilians on August 10, 2024.

The Israeli regime’s brutal attack on the al-Tabi’in school in the al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, which is sheltering displaced people in the east of the Gaza Strip, killed more than 100 civilians on Saturday morning.

The Zionist regime claimed that the attack targeted members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements.

Hamas described the claim as baseless, unfounded and a justification for the barbaric attack, stressing that not even one armed person was among those killed.

They were all civilians martyred while saying morning prayers, the resistance movement said.

They were children, government employees, university professors and religious figures who had no role in political or military activities, Hamas reiterated.

The latest Israeli massacre of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has drawn worldwide condemnations.

Backed by the US and its Western allies, the Israeli regime launched an all-out invasion of Gaza after it was caught off-guard by Operation Al-Aqsa Storm inside the occupied territories in October last year.
