Resistance Front Expanding, Getting Stronger: Iraqi Cleric
Hojat-ol-Islam Yusuf Al-Nasseri, the chairman of the Iraqi National Council of Religions, made the remark in an address to a webinar titled “Nasra Min Allah and Future of Resistance.
It was jointly organized by the Political Sciences and Thought Research Center and the Civilization and Social Studies Center on Sunday.
Al-Nasseri said the Westerners are clearly witnessing the decline of the Western civilization today while the oppressed are getting stronger and the front of resistance is developing and becoming more powerful as more people join it day after day.
He said the world today is divided into the front of the truth and the front of falsehood and everyone can easily distinguish them.
The front of the truth is the one that is defending the oppressed against the arrogance front, he added.
The Iraqi cleric referred to the recent assassination of Hezbollah resistance movement’s secretary general Sayed Hassan Nasrallah by the Zionist regime and aid those behind the assassination are the same people who killed Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.
He also said today’s war is not one against infidels and polytheists but one against the hypocrite, which is a much harder battle.
Al-Nasseri said the silence of some Muslim scholars in the face of the Israeli regime’s atrocities is nothing but hypocrisy, adding that such individuals undermine the front of the truth with their silence and their hypocrisy.

He also said that the war against the Israeli regime should not be limited to resistance groups but Muslim countries should also declare war on the occupation regime.
A number religious scholars and university professors from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Tunisia also addressed the online seminar Sunday.
