IQNA – The implementation of an educational law in Morocco has posed a challenge to the country’s Quranic school students.

Based on this law, those studying in Quranic schools cannot continue their studies at regular schools.

This may discourage parents from sending their kids to Quranic schools.

Some educational experts believe that the law unfairly targets students of Quranic schools.

Such students should be able to learn other sciences in regular schools, they say.

Others say Quranic schools have been founded legally and operate under the supervision of the Awqaf and Islamic affairs ministry so children studying there is quite legal and there is no justification for limiting their move to regular schools.
