The "Martyrs of the Resistance" Quranic convoy, organized by the Supreme Quran Council in collaboration with the Dar al-Quran Organization, embarked on Thursday, October 25, to host Quran recitation and listening sessions in Aran o Bidgol and Mashhad Ardehal, both located in the Kashan region.
The convoy, comprising esteemed Quranic teachers, qaris, and memorizers, commemorated the martyrs of the resistance in these gatherings by offering recitations in two mosques over a one-day visit.
Mohammad Taqi Mirzajani, Executive Deputy of the Supreme Quran Council and head of the convoy, expressed satisfaction with the recent convoy’s success and its warm reception. “Thankfully, there was a strong interest from the Quranic community, including teachers, qaris, and Quranic activists, in such programs. This interest has encouraged us to continue organizing and expanding these events,” Mirzajani told IQNA.
He emphasized that the convoy has clear objectives, with one key goal being to foster love, unity, and solidarity within the Quranic community through gatherings like this.

Mirzajani also noted the special significance of the convoy’s name, "Martyrs of the Resistance," stating that it symbolizes the Quranic community’s solidarity and support for the resistance front and the resilience of the people in Gaza and Lebanon in the face of the Israeli aggression.
Highlighting the Quranic community's role in promoting resistance, he explained, “During the convoy's gatherings, we focused on verses related to knowing the enemy and the Quran’s guidance on themes of resistance, sacrifice, and martyrdom. This is both a reminder and a duty for the Quranic community to pay tribute to these values.”
Plans are underway for these convoys to be held at least once a year, ideally every six months, allowing the Quranic community to reach various parts of the country with this initiative, he added.
