New Head of Tehran’s Quran Cultural Center Urged to Make Best Use of Quranic Capacities

IQNA – The head of the Municipality of Tehran’s Cultural-Art Organization named the new head of the city’s Quran Cultural Center.

In a decree, Mehrdad Baqeri appointed Hojat-ol-Islam Reza Gomar as the new head of the center. 

Baqeri called on Hojat-ol-Islam Gomar to elevate the quality and quantity of Quranic programs and products at the center.

He urged the cleric to plan for organizing educational courses and workshops and holding Quranic events, especially for children and young adults.

He also called for efforts at the center to identify and guide Quranic talents and make optimum use of grassroots and institutional capacities in Quranic fields.

Hojat-ol-Islam Gomar has replaced Saeed Zakiloo, a veteran Quranic figure who headed the Quran Cultural Center since January 2022.
