Thousands of Qurans Gifted to Students in Bangladesh’s Bancharampur

IQNA – Some five thousand copies of the Holy Quran were distributed among students of thirty-seven educational institutions in Bancharampur, Bangladesh.

More than 5,000 students were gifted copies of the Quran in a ceremony in Bancharampur, Bangladesh, on November 4, 2024.

 

The Bashundhara Group gifted the Qurans to the male and female students in a ceremony. 

The event was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Monday afternoon with Bashundhara Group Advisor Maynal Hossain Chowdhury in the chair.

The program was attended by the students of 25 secondary schools, eleven madrasas, and a vocational school and college in the area.  

Receiving the Holy Quran, ninth-grader Tania Akhter of Bancharampur Pilot Girls' High School said, "This is the first time I have received a Holy Quran as a gift. I feel very happy after getting the holy book."

Suman Mia, a Bancharampur Vocational School and College student, said, "I am delighted to receive the Holy Quran."
