In a post on his X account, Abdulbari Atwan referred to a recent statement by the spokesman for the Yemen’s Armed Forces about how Yemeni forces have conducted three operations in the depth of occupied Palestinian territories with the participation of Iraqi resistance movements.
He said Palestine and the Palestinian nation will be victorious with the support of the Yemeni, Iraqi and Lebanese people and the Zionist regime will be defeated.
Atwan cited a threat from Trump against the axis of resistance and reminded the incoming US president of the power of resistance forces.
“I would like to draw Trump’s attention to the fact that due to blessed Yemeni missiles, there is not even one US aircraft carrier in the Middle East’s waters,” he said.
Suffice it to remind Trump that a naval ballistic missile hit the USS Abraham Lincoln a few days ago, causing severe damage to the vessel, he stated.
Also, he noted, Trump should remember that the Yemeni resistance forces attacked a military base deep in occupied Palestine with a hypersonic missile this week.
On Tuesday, Trump said there would be “hell to pay” in the Middle East unless Israeli captives held in the Gaza Strip were released ahead of his Jan. 20 inauguration.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s armed forces have announced the execution of three joint military operations with the Iraqi resistance targeting Israeli positions, as part of their ongoing efforts to halt the relentless violence against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

In a statement, Yemeni Army spokesman Yahya Saree reported that two drone attacks successfully struck Zionist positions in northern occupied Palestine, while another operation targeted a significant site in Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat) Port in southern occupied Palestine.
According to the Yemeni Armed Forces, all three operations, conducted using multiple drones within a 48-hour timeframe, achieved their intended objectives.
The statement emphasized the commitment of both Yemeni and Iraqi resistance fighters to continue their response to the Israeli regime's aggression until it ceases and the blockade on Gaza is lifted.
Since the onset of Israel's military campaign against Gaza over a year ago, which has resulted in over 43,000 deaths, Yemen has carried out hundreds of operations against Israeli targets.
The Yemeni forces have also imposed a semi-blockade on Israel, restricting the movement of Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea.
