Forum to Discuss Use of AI in Mosques

IQNA – A forum is going to be held at the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom, Iran, to discuss the requirements and applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in mosques.

The Islamic Seminaries’ Smart Technologies Strategic Headquarters will organize the specialized forum on Thursday.

A number of organizations and institutions like Astan Quds Razavi, Mosques’ Strategic Headquarters, Islamic Seminaries’ Information Technology Center and the Islamic Consultative Assembly (parliament) will cooperate in holding the event.

Speakers will include Hojat-ol-Islam Ojaghnejad, the custodian of the Jamkaran Mosque, Reza Taqipour, the head of the Parliament’s AI Faction, and Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Moslemifar, the secretary of the Mosques’ Strategic Headquarters.

In recent years, there have been efforts to explore the use of AI in Islamic seminaries and religious centers.
