IQNA – A US advocacy group deplored the Zionist regime’s lack of concern for human life, stressing the need to prevent it from killing more Palestinians before a ceasefire agreement with Hamas comes into force.

Israel continues attacks on Gaza despite a ceasefire deal with Hamas.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, on Friday urged President Biden and President-Elect to demand that the Israeli regime “stop trying to kill as many Palestinians as possible” before the ceasefire agreement takes effect on Sunday.

CAIR noted that the government of indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu has killed at least 113 Palestinians, including 28 children and 31 women, since the initial announcement of the ceasefire and also reportedly almost killed an Israeli captive set for release. In the past 24 hours alone, Israeli attacks reportedly killed 88 Palestinians and wounded 189 others in four massacres against families. The surge in bombings is ongoing even though Israel’s security cabinet has accepted the ceasefire deal that is expected to come into force on Sunday.

In a statement, CAIR Deputy Executive Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell said:

“We urge President Biden and President-Elect Trump to demand that the Israeli government stop trying to kill as many Palestinians as possible before the ceasefire deal takes effect. The indicted war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu’s rush to indiscriminately bomb more Palestinian civilians, which also risks the lives of Israeli captives set for release, is just the latest reminder that this out-of-control, genocidal government does not care about human life.”

He noted that on Thursday, CAIR called on President-Elect Trump to demand that Netanyahu stop attempting to sabotage and back out of the ceasefire deal and condemned the Israeli regime’s cruel surge in deadly attacks on Gaza after the announcement of the ceasefire.
