Imam Ali Dar-ol-Quran Center’s Quran Contest: Awarding Ceremony Slated for Jan. 24

IQNA – Winners of the 18th edition of the Quran competition organized in Iran by the Imam Ali (AS) Dar-ol-Quran Center will be awarded in a ceremony this Friday.

The Sheikh Saduq Hall of Hazrat Abdul Azim Hassani (SA) mausoleum in Rey, south of Tehran, will host the ceremony. 

It will include Quran recitations by top winners in the recitation and memorization of the entire Quran categories.

More than 12,000 Quran reciters and memorizers took part in this year’s competition.

The preliminary and semifinal rounds were held virtually and 1,300 of the contenders made it to the finals in the men and women sections.

The finals took place in December with 16 Quran experts from Iran and other countries judging the performances of the contestants.
